TehJarVu SG SYZ also made the record company wait for her till she completed her degree. and that was her father's advice too, to at least have a degree before she ventured into singing.
browniebaobao SG wat is the prospect of getting a music diploma or degree? how many ple can actually be successful in the music industry? I presume u are referring to those strings or instruments right? Do u really need to get a diploma in music to do music? cant u juz join a music club or school?
striderz_o405 SG something about ITE... advice: NEVER go there. Waste another 2 years for what? If u retake your Os at most waste one year, furthermore less economic burden.
darknessfall SG actually we missed out on an impt qn... your music is what type of music huh????? singing, dummers, pianists, rock,,,,etc
ruixiangz SG if you're not a music-pro by 16 then you can forget about ever studying classical music in a tertiary institution.i dun agree...albert enstein was a late starter , bill gates was a late starter... on the other hand, mozart was a child genius, but nobody appreciated him when he was alive i dun have money to learn music mah...so not my fault that i not music pro and i am aiming to be a concert pianist...so u think someone who is considering music as a career has a passion or a superficial liking for it? but the most important thing here is practicality...
browniebaobao SG stereotype. who says go there waste time? it depends on the mindset. if a student goes there and dun wana study, of course it's a waste of time and money. I retake O level one yr, went to ITE 2 years, now in poly 2.5 yrs course coz of my gd results in ITE.
