I have a liking for a friend for some time already. I only confirmed my feelings for him when I felt my heart beating very fast when he was sitting beside me and I was looking forward to meet him everytime.

Now I am contemplating whether to let him know or not.. past hurt in relationships is holding me back from taking a step forward. As much as I wanted to move on, I still fear.. fear of being hurt again. Actually I also do not dare to expect anything from him. But I just feel so silly that I am feeling happy over the little things that happened and yet it is all one sided.

I guess he look upon me like a little sister. I never thought that I will feel this way for him but it just happened. What should I do?

You should tell him about your feelings

Bottling your feelings does not help you and it will make you feel worse later on if he does find a g/f

By telling him, you might get a 50% chances that he might like you but if you dun its 0%....

personally, i see no reasons why friends cant carry on as friends even if one party has already confessed. its just the mentality. if ex-lovers can be friends, i dont see why you 2 cant carry on as friends

if you feel you truely like him, then go ahead and confess. as pointed out, its 0% chance if you dont confess. would you wanna move on without confessing and look back with regrets 10 years later?

I tried asking him out and wanted to cheer him up when he was down. But he rejected my 'date'. I guess the love worm started when one night, out of the blue, he suddenly smsed me whether I can chat with him on the phone and we chatted for 4 hours till 4am.

After that conversation, I don't know about him, but I seem to understand him better and still treat him like a friend. We still come out with our common friends, but we never come out one-on-one. If I really have to tell him how I feel, how to? what can I do?
