simple question

I need to break the ice between a girl I knew on net. There just too much barriers between us, never talk face to face before, never even spoke a word before but we can be chatting like a long time friend over net. We knew each other existance in the real world when we cross each other path but we never really acknowledge them.

This is the problem I need to face and resolve. No craps thanks.

Ok, go up to her, & say, "Hi, please don't think this is a chatup line, because it isn't. If you tell me No at the end of my question, I won't bother you again."

Look at her body language & judge if you can proceed. If yes, then tell her, "I'm actually chatting with this girl now, & I think you might be her. My nick is blah blah blah, & her nick is blah blah blah. So, am I right?"

Problem is we know each other as in she know I am this guy, and I know she is that girl. We can talk about how the celebration at school today and so on on net. I don't want to restrict our friendship just on this virtual world, I hope to bring it to the reality, where we can just talk and go out face to face.

Just ask her out for a drink one day...? Probably somewhere quiet.. Just like in a chatroom... Both of you can sit a distance away and across from each other if not too comfortable... Else, just be yourself...? Wink

actually i think one to one date is very stressful for first time if you are not sociable... heehee.. so i tell u what my bro did...

he started by passing her things... like if talking abt music.. he will ask.. "u wan? I lend you??" then just pass her the CD friendily, a couple of lines small talk, walk away

Then one week later talk abt books.. express interest in one of the books she like.. then ask "ehh can lend me??"

then after a couple of times.. can just ask "ohh r u rushing anywhere? I've got a free period.. want a drink?"
