A thief is stealing big sweep tickets and cash from a handicap. the handicap's niece has filed a police report one year ago and the thief has not been caught. He's still stealing from the handicap discreetly.

The problem is this: the thief is an old man.

Yes im facing a moral dilemma, i need to solve this problem because only i can. But then again the old thief.

This handicap is outside Bukit Merah Central NTUC's exit on the upper level.

The next best thing you can do is to catch the thief red handed and sternly warn him not to disturb the handicapped man again.

There are many ways to solve a problem.

But for this case. The best is to hand that old man to police to handle since it was repeated offence.

And next few solution will be handled by you. Think about it.

Why you so cute.
Take down his Identification Card and copy the details.
If he say he doesn't have his IC with him, call police (He'll somehow make one IC out)
Or get him to dial his house number or closest kin to verify/get his particulars.
Many ways to deal. Got to think harder.

Ask him if he wants to go to lock up or let you copy down his particulars.
When you have his particulars and regconise him. There is nothing much he can do except to look for another victim, unless he's a hardcore offender. Which i'd doubt.

If anything problem arises again, you can threaten to hand over his particulars to the police.

Give him the 'If you ever mess with my Big sweep uncle friend again, you're going to be so screwed' kind of tone.

At least i didn't say, get a few friends and ambush old man and whack him up hor.

Since our thread starter has moral issues....i guess my way is one of the solution.
