First opened on 26 December 1999. It was closed since 16
December 2012. It will be re-constructed and re-opened soon -

If this year, it's likely to be around December.

"The new 7,350 square metres bus interchange will be seamlessly
linked with LRT/ MRT stations and adjoining developments ... Eleven
bus services will operate out of the new interchange. Presently the
existing bus interchange serves about 7,500 to 8,000 commuters
daily. Together with potential new users, these commuters will
directly benefit from the enhanced integration of the new bus
interchange with the existing Bukit Panjang LRT station and
upcoming Bukit Panjang MRT Station." - Land Transport Authority of Singapore. 2012.

Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange is 7,350 sq metres. Bedok Bus
Interchange is 16,000 sq metres and has 58 parking lots. A simple
calculation of fraction and multiplication would suggest that Bukit
Panjang Bus Interchange has around 26 parking lots.
However, considering there will be parking lots for articulated
buses, let's halve the number to 13.
If SMRT decides to operate 100% DD/SD at Bukit Panjang, then
it's 26 parking lots. Otherwise, it's around 13 parking lots.
Not sure if it is too early to open a thread for Bukit Panjang
Bus Interchange, but there seems to be quite a lot of discussions
about Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok and Bukit Panjang in this forum.
So, why not consolidate everything here?
