My prediction for DTL rationalisation: Route 180 to be extended to
YIS following 171 route. Route 67 amended to MCT via 171 route. As
a result, Route 171 in itself becomes redundant. Route 66 amended
to provide cover between LTI, Geylang Serai & BDK (due to loss
of 67). Route 65 possibly withdrawn. HBF to LTI covered by NEL.
First, no changes should be made at least for 6 months after DTL
is operational. Operators should monitor loading patterns to make
appropriate changes.
171 should be edited to do Yishun to CCK
180 can stay the way it is
67 could go to MCT (not bad suggestion)
65 could still do HF to Tampines but from Little India follow sv
67's route to Tampines with full fleet DDs as today
66 can continue to operate as alternative to DTL for both Bukit
Timah and UBI/Bedok corridor.
