HI
If you study in Australia, MBA (like Monash) when you complete the
core units, you can still go to specialization, any field which you
like during the course. Some people take MBA and after core units,
they change their career. However, if you change your career, it
means you have to start from beginning.
Furthermore, after completing MBA, some people return to work, they
find it hard to meet their expectations, or even hard to find a job
because they get older and employer may want the younger. MBA will
be more expensive to pay. Singapore is hard to find a job. So ask
yourself how you are happy with your job now? Is it necessary to
take further education? For knowledge, or promotion?
You should ask yourself what you want for your career, what you
like to do first, and who you want to be in future ... A master
degree is a huge investment. Think carefully before you go for it.
You should go to career counsellor to ask for advice. It seems to
me you need to have a "need analysis' from them.
Best wishes.
