SMB1420A (190PM17) with blur BC today..missed the turn into CCK interchange while on CCK Loop..BC didnt realise until pax shouted. end up BC proceeded along CCK Loop, turn left onto CCK Ave 4, drop pax at Lot one stop. For those pax who wish to take into the int, BC turn left again onto CCK Drive, before turning left back onto CCK Loop..

Wasted around 5 mins. Time of incident: 2205hrs...

Last weeks edition of 'Coach and Bus Week' included an article about Dave Roger's latest acquisition, the last ever Leyland Olympian to be built, SBS Transit's SBS 9168S.

Dave is now faced with a bill of almost £3,000 in import duty as according to HM Revenue and Customs the bus does not meet its criteria for being a collectors piece of historic interest. An urgent appeal has been made on the Leyland Society website, just follow the link for further details.

SBS8169X (BNDEP 36) - one of the KUBs with sturdy doors that don't shake over small bumps... In fact, very little shakes unless there is a violent bump in the road. One of the few (if not only) KUBs to have different screws for the panels at the sides of the rear window inside... Suspect assembled by Soon Chow, very nice 36 perm Euro IV KUB!

SBS8262J (BNDEP 36) - nice engine! Had Service 5 quides last Saturday, although it was on 36... Very nice engine sound when the BC does kickdowns! Apart from being my favourite KUB, it is also a very nice 36 perm Euro IV KUB!

SBS8309J (HGDEP 156) - one of the KUBs with sturdy doors that don't shake over small bumps... In fact, very little shakes unless there is a violent bump in the road. Very nice engine sound when the BC does kickdowns! One of my favourite KUBs!

SMB16R (KJDEP 189) - tape placed over 'DOOR CLOSING' chime, not sure why...

SMB26L (AMDEP 171) - 'DOOR CLOSING' chime spoilt...

TIB482A (WLDEP 856) - middle 'BUS STOPPING' sign in red, using regular bulbs rather than LEDs on TIB475X...

TIB518G (AMDEP 67) - has no hub reduction, like TIB520Z... Front 'BUS STOPPING' sign is the same as TIB589B... Nice aircon!

TIB609C (KJDEP 970) - nice aircon! One of the few O405s to have speakers onboard, with one removed at the rear door, which has been covered a piece of metal... Nice ex-176 perm O405!

TIB825U (KJDEP 970) - nice aircon! Engine sounds like TIB542K, with nice ZF... Very good Batch 3 O405, feels like a Batch 2 O405!

TIB854K (KJDEP 188) - one of the few O405Gs with single seats at the front trailer...

TIB1089X (WLDEP 187) - rear trailer 'BUS STOPPING' sign with tube connected to it... One of the few Habits to have a different deceleration sound, like TIB899G...

TIB1148J (AMDEP 854) - rear trailer exit door only opens a few seconds after the middle door, causing many passengers to press the bell again many times... This also caused the 'BUS STOPPING' sign to only turn off after the rear door opens... Nice aircon like TIB1235R!

TIB1211J (KJDEP 190) - aircon filter panels cleaned, the other panels very grey and dirty... Another case of poor maintenance of the KJDEP 190 perm Habits...

SBS5176U (BNDEP 36) - nice ZF for a Euro V KUB! 2nd last row right aisle seat has tape on the back of the seat...

SBS7592M (SLBP 97) - growling engine, sounds like RapidKL King Long... Also, this CCTV sign is not really at the right place...

SBS8194Y (HGDEP 27) - front doors open and close very loudly and move swiftly... Also, this CCTV sign is opposite the exit door...

SMB1401E (WLDEP 176) - front doors open very loudly, but close normally...

SMB1377S on 985 *(suspect on TQ slot) today. When reach CCK INT at around 830am, BC wanted to change from OFF SERVICE to 985 EDS, but press wrong ended up with 969 EDS...but it was soon reset to 985 EDS...

Ever seen TIB545C BC at WRI Int change the EDS from 858 to 106, then 586(!), before finally setting it back to 858...

TIB623K (AMDEP 171) - 'DOOR CLOSING' chime spoilt... Fast doors! 'BUS STOPPING' sign very green, not faded at all... Only bus with extra vertical pole (similar to the one on the side) installed at the standee area! Also one of the few buses where the gearbox is very smooth, no jerking at all... Also only O405 with only one perm service... Nice bus!

SBS2788Z (HGDEP 153) - rather smooth ride and very nice Voith whistle!

SBS8069B (BBDEP 156) - has the extra pole at the front...

SBS8409D (SLBP 157) - engine has weird sound after gearshift, something like TIB1190K once...

SBS9379A (SLBP 30) - super strong aircon! The only VO3X with the upper deck 'BUS STOPPING' sign postioned at the right... Upper deck desto holder locks have this piece of flooring peeling off, revealing damaged panels...

SMB87K (KJDEP 970) - restickered livery...

SMB180Z (AMDEP 61) - one of the few Citaros that actually have the PIS scrolling route details! Very soft speakers onboard...

TIB481C (WLDEP 856) - speakers onboard retained... With the strong aircon and nice engine, quite sad to see it go so soon...

TIB561E (KJDEP 67) - very soft 'BUS STOPPING' chime... One of the few O405s to retain all the original aircon ducts...

TIB627A (KJDEP 77) - loud ZF howls!

TIB628Y (KJDEP 173) - growling engine... All purple seats except the last row (excluding the middle seat) have super thick cushions! One bell missing on the window divider:

TIB757H (WLDEP 963) - only O405 with Habit seat covers!

TIB891C (KJDEP 188) - nice original 'Ding Dong' bell!
