1. Couple of SBST and SMRT buses have it... Some of them are SBS8565K, SBS8751P and SMB116K.

2. What were you doing at Yihsun Int so early?

*RapidKL buses getting interior rego plates…

SBS1969A (CGBP 81) – ‘BUS STOPPING’ chime very unique (older), has this chime: “Ding Dong, um-uh”… Nice Strider!

SBS2808A (ARBP 195) – very nice Voith!

SBS2816B (ARBP 57) – rear door with “NO STANDING ON STEPS” sticker… Very nice Voith!

SBS6724G (HGDEP 27) – middle panels (rear door and standee area) creaking when going over humps…

SBS7477M (HGDEP 51) – ‘DOOR CLOSING’ chime deeper than usual, actually very nice!

SBS8162P (AMDEP 53) – front doors like SBS8164P, open and close like Masats doors (no swinging at all)… Also with the black screws at the rear like SBS8164J, but only on the right… Only KUB with extra aircon vents on the aircon ducts (towards the rear, behind the exit door)!

SBS8713A (BRBP 124) – one the few KUBs without loud radiators!

SBS8788J (BRBP 145) – rear row right most seat got this aircon vent!

SMB105S (KJDEP 172) – bus cui, interior quite dirty… ‘DOOR CLOSING’ chime spoilt…

SMB232H (WLBP 75) – engine cover at the last row of seats not close properly, letting hot air from the engine to rise into the interior, thus making the rear warm!

SMB273P (WLBP 75) – nice engine! Emergency door knob sticker cleverly placed on top of the speaker!

SMB1323Y (KJDEP 868/SP) – inerior still has SDIC ads on aircon ducts… Aircon cui…

SMB1345J (WLBP 75) – very whiny engine!

SMRT experience techinicians all have jump ship to SBST or other private companies so no choice employ newbies and technicians mostly from abroad one..Lubricants from Europe ELF,Castrol & Mobil change to Idemitsu then wanna cut more cost change to thai made lubricants,Tires from Michelin/Dunlop change to Gajah Tunggal(GT) reuse and reuse again till exploded..Thats you get from a corporation always think of enormous profits at the expense of its staffs and fleets..even their Taxis also gone case after Comfortdelgro..Best maintenance still goes to Transcab but must see how long can they maintain..Like old saying “Save a dollar lose a dime..long run lose everything..At least HK follow Europe style,Give the best for their fleets cause they know its the fleets that earn them the fortune..Seriously i dont know when SMRT will ever buck up.Doesnt mean change boss can solve everything..I also can bet the E500s wont be spared either,After AD techs left you will see and hear all sort of nonsense will come up,engine rattling,under servicing,aircon unot jingling..rim misalignment..

SBST still not that bad consider the huge fleets,3300 vs 1150 buses

Slbp buses do look sloppy with their oil spray usually at the rim hub..
Bndep with their trademark,dirty buses but overall still better than SMRT

307P pathetic load leh for the past few days..majority pax still prefer to board 307/307E when both 307 and 307P pull into the bus stop..ever seen 307 packed to the door but 307P only has 1 pax inside...

307P is a bad move, can just give 307 BSEP fleet add (at least two buses), then no need to waste resources...

should improve when bus contracts model take effect. but again depend on how the contract specifies in areas such as maintenance. or else the awarded bidder will cut corners and end up with badly maintained fleet esp when contract is ending and they more bochap. also; will there be strict and regular audits to ensure the operator performs and maintain the buses properly and no alibaba. or else history will repeat itself like what carbikebus mentioned earlier.

exactly! i still see 307P buses with less than 10 pax onboard..307 BCs are complaining that no one dare to board 307P, and everyone squeeze onto 307 even though its full...and on multiple occasions 307 and 307P pair together, sometimes 307, 307E and 307P all come together.

the new TPE bus-stop next to Sengkang will also serve route to PGL and northern areas. the front of the busstop will serve route turning left to Sengkang. the rear of busstop will serve routes turning to PGL or continue onto TPE. look at the road markings and you will know why.

LTA should not have started 307P in the first place, instead they need to know that they should more buses (all BSEP fleet adds) on 307 itself, at least 2 buses (1 A/P and 1 split) will do already... Then the frequency can improve and finally people no need to complain of overcrowding on 307 and all this 307P would not be there in the first place... LTA, please wake up.
