SMB3034T - 925, Exit Doors system jammed many times with untidy wiring and doorbelts tangled together. Door pressure also caused some small plastic parts to break and fly off from the cover when closing... Opened 8 times, closed more than 20 times...

ya lo..i think out of 10 times i see an ADL, at least 8 times the pax counters not working correctly one..

I have a hunch that the ADLs were delivered with many technical difficulties, which are also happening occasionally on SBS Transit's new Wrights... The only difference is that for SMRT, it happens on a much bigger scale.

All I can say is that SMRT didn't prepare for a smooth introduction of its ADLs... They seemed to have hurried to show the public and introduce the ADLs on the services they ply now without considering the faults presented by the buses...

Actually probably because it's a double decker bus..plus I heard that the bus pickup isn't good enough.

The pickuo is alright for SMB3513C, the problem is the super slow Exit doors... Nearly 5 secs each for opening & closing which add up to 10 secs lost just for the Exit doors... SMB138Y Exit doors speed were alright...

TIB895S on 190 today but BC was blur. During the 1825hrs trip to NBR, BC went to drive the bus to service 67 berth, only to realise its wrong and BC had to reverse the bus back to the service 190 berth...
