Kinda expected this reaction, maybe this is women's instinct? I
was prepared for this, given that she's very insecure about you. At
least you've managed to calm her down, but do the right thing : )
You can find her a job, but she doesn't need to be in the same
company as you. You can find her accommodation, but Not so near to
you.
Also, don't need to ask her out, but drop her a line to ask her how
she is, & ALWAYS let your gf know when you do that. Handle this
with care, & your gf, hopefully, will gradually place more
trust in you. Sometimes trust is hard-earned, but very worth the
effort.
That's what I do with Hamster anyway. If there's something he needs
to know, & I know that Not telling him will make him insecure,
then I'll tell him & reassure him. That's how he trusts
me.
