1)Okay, I accept that.

2)Peharps I shall be more strict with my post. I am talking about "love" between man and woman. Let's try to make things simple and not too complicated by bringing in other sorts of "love", such as "pet-owner"

3)I am talking about "Love without Lust". Not the reverse case of "Lust without love". You're over-complicating my point of view here.

You love your Hamster, but which one comes first, Lust or Love? Just think about it carefully. I don't need your personal input, just objective opinions.

4)Then why did you post that as a point in the first place?

Love is already complicated enough without you having to complicate it further with your thoughts, which are at best, irrelevant, at worst, incoherent (pardon me for being blunt, I get irritated when I'm confused after reading a post).

I am sorry for confusing you and also how my post felt irrelevant or even incoherent. I am just stating out my thoughts and it is your choice to reply accordingly or not even reply at all.

I agree that Love is complicated, even though I have not experienced "Love" in my stated definition here. As I repeat once again, it's just my personal thoughts.

Err...what do you mean by lust? As in those that will end up with you forcing yourself upon her?

Or more like a passion/desire to be physically close with the one you love most, but still able to control and respect your partner's wish and desire at the same time...

Passion is a very important part in a r/s. My ai ai and I are passionate towards each other, but that is not the only thing that matters in a r/s. It is just one of the points that will keep your r/s alive and burning. A couple who no longer has passion towards each other, is just the same as two frens living together, they no longer hunger to be close to each other, they have lost the intimacy and sooner or later the r/s will not be able to sustain itself because it is no longer love, it is just another form of frenship or if they are not even amiable with each other anymore, then they are no different than strangers.

Lust is when you are passionate towards your partner, and somehow "forces" him/her to submit to your desire. This word somehow just has a negative connotation for me, dunno why...

Passion is needed in a r/s. For me, I do not think I need lust Wink

obviously love is not all about lust, vice versa, and it's also no just to conceal the fact that we all lust after the opposite sex or whatsoever.

You really sound like a friend of mine.

The difference between love and lust is very simple.

Lust: the only thing on your mind is sexual. you want her for her body, nothing more nothing less. when she is sick or when a crisis hits, you'll walk away because the "bond" between you two is just Lust. you can ALWAYS find a replacement for Lust.

Love: Yes It's true when you love, you'll lust too... but when you Love someone, you want what's best for her. you'll go out of your way to take care of her, comfort her, protect her. when you see something beautiful, something breathtaking you'll think of her, wanting to share your experience with her. If you know that she can never be happy with you, you'll eventually let her go, (knowing that she could be you "the One" and that you May never love someone like you love her,) because you love her and only want her to be happy.

That's the Difference!!!

how can you have food without water?

iif you have a marriage with love and no lust/desire... you'll have a strong friendship held together by a marriage cert.

Love is programmed into girls. Lust is programmed into guys. It is a cycle. The lust chase the love who love the lust. If one link break, there can be no relationship. It is necessary for the survival of the human species. Seriously, given the general population, if guys are not interested in sex, girls would go crazy…
