I'm Not going to judge your friends by saying they are shallow for
Not inviting you because you're Not rich nor popular.
Perhaps, as you've mentioned, it's because you can't click with
them. If I were to plan an outing, I'd naturally want my friends to
have a good time, & Not have anyone feel awkward or left out.
Perhaps they didn't invite you because they felt you may Not enjoy
whatever they've planned, or the conversation they are planning to
have?
Perhaps it's for the best that you don't jump to conclusions so
quickly. Your friends may Not have the most evil of intentions. If
they don't click with you, then perhaps find some others who do :
)
