Which is better for you/

Big Bot SG

If you ask a guy/girl out for the first time and you 2 never really been out together alone, let's say IF he/she is really busy and can't come out.

And the both of you "kinda" have crushes on each other, just not VERY strong and both are "kinda" shy too.

To the sender: What would you expect her/him to reply if he/she is REALLY busy?

To the receiver: What would you reply or not reply and leave him/her wondering?

Because, Busy is one of the top rejection lines and you don't want him/her to get the idea you dunwan him/her but not replying is a double edged sword.

So in actual fact, all replies give negative ideas....

Have to overcome the shyness if meet up if both have a liking for each other.

You think too much...?

dcx SG

yeah~ You think too much... Wink

Yunhaier SG

Seriously, if you can divert all these mental energy into constructive use to work on the shyness part, you may actually succeed.

P.S: Your thinking revolves in a circle; don't spend so much time going through all these unnecessary stuff. Idea

Not replying may be he/she forgotten...

Busy means no time for you. Mr. Green

It's always a rejection no matter what forms or what words. It's always a no reject if the answer is only Yes, hence not including:

A: Hello sweetie honey cake, can I ask you out for the dinner...

B: Yes, but I am going with someone else so many next time...

For the receiver, expect the other party not to say no if you allow him or her to choose an alternative date.

For the receiver, Easy lah, just apologise and explain why you are truly busy and propose another day/date and even the venue. That already shows that you are keen to meet.

Big Bot SG

smudgey SG

Too many Ifs...

you can If out all the possible scenerios...

but unless you take a deep breath and JDI (Just Do It), you'll NEVER know...

my take is ask her out.
if she really happens to be busy, ask her again some other time...

Hi Big Bot,

Your musings are akin to sitting on a chair, plucking the petals off a flower & repeating, "She loves me, she loves me Not..." yadda yadda yadda.

If you think you stand a chance, go ahead. If you don't think you stand a chance, don't.
