Being single is fine, as long as it is your choice.
If you choose to be single, you will be happy. You won't be
affected when you see couples walking past you.
But, if you are single because you are left with no choice (can't
find the other half no matter how hard you try), then you won't be
happy. Reason is simple: whenever you walk past loving couples, you
will start lamenting how ppl are so blissfully married/attached
whereas no matter how hard you tried, you still can't find your
other half.
