FeowFeow SG 1 thing I've noticed with cars: We tend to take the shortest route to get to our intended destination asap And we tend to get very stressed when we face jams, etc That's 1 of the things we like about taking buses when we're together : ) We're in a far more relaxed mood, since we know we're gonna look at the sights... It's kinda fun going exploring like this, which is why we're usually excited whenever we make plans to go for a whole day This time, we're gonna go for a whole weekend, which includes a stay in any cheapo hotel nearest to us (except Geylang, of course!) if necessary If we can both make it back home in time, then we will, & head off tomorrow after a refreshing nap Who says you can't go "backpacking" (albeit with a VERY small backpack ) in Singapore? Mao x 2 SG Precisely... Car is a liability. Petrol price up again today... And you can't drive if you intend to go for drink.. and vice versus.. Still prefer to take bus... or walk.. Me tried walking from lavender MRT ( near Bugis) all the way down to Orchard before.
