I'd suggest announcements in both eng and chi?

Like eg. The Train approaching platform A is serving the Sengkang West Loop.

Also SBST can install the TVs that we have in the Train Stations at STC station and SBST can programme it to be like

TV + Announcement + if possible have 2 different boarding point along the platform.

Since SBST LRT doesn't run 2-car for now, and the platform is designed for 4 doors max(if Im not wrong), East loop can stop towards the end of the platform. West loop can stop furthest to the end of the platform.. Of cus the platform must have some labels..

Hi mr TIB429E, if people really want to take the effort to know the direction, they will do so and avoid taking the wrong one. If people do not make any reasonable effort to do so, rest assured that they will take the effort to know for the second trip after ending up on the wrong one for first trip. This is simple human behaviour. You can have signs and hearing systems and all but nothing is gonna change if one simply just takes it for granted. Cheers.

Some of you can yadda yadda yadda, but its a fact.

There are new towns in the works and nobody said they have LRTs.

Hi mr SBS2601D, what makes you think this way? They did not think LRTs are wonderful and also not wonderful too. Basically all these are dependent on $$$ which necessitated as investments. Yes there are new towns in the works but it also depends on the locations. Not all towns are equal and need LRT. Some may be near major roads and near current MRTs which may negate the need for LRT. Let's look on the bigger perspective in issues and do not just slam all of us here. Cheers.

Hi mr SBS2601D, nothing painful for me to swallow. I like both buses and LRTs and am okay with both. Let's say which new town they are building and do it have space to build an MRT to connect to 7 or 8 LRT stations to link up to MRT? It is not just by stating a few sentences and expect everybody to adhere to. Cheers.
