I was referring to your sister's friends, classmates or colleagues for not telling her that the bride was pregnant. Before, I have also refrained from telling my friend about his ex's wedding...later after the wedding date, he got to know that everyone was invited except him....made him so Twisted Evil & Sad

Dear Toffee...

Personally, I feel that there is no need to bring anyone along... there is no need for pretense... cos ultimately you must know why you are doing that ( to give her your blessings or to show her that you are better off without her(by bringing a pretty girl along)...
If you feel that your ex really hopes you could attend but you couldn't face the situation, meet her earlier to pass her a wedding gift...

My fren received an invitation from a crush yesterday. She was very sad cos she was the "last one" to know, even though it was not meant to be that way. She happened to miss a previous outing when he announced it.
BTW, she is getting married too...but somehow I feel she still has feelings for him.And she is comparing herself with that girl, that she is prettier, her husband is more eligible, she has a bigger ring, the girl is not popular among frens and colleagues etc...

It's natural for us to make ourselves feel better by comparing and not wish them well...however, let's make a very conscious effort not to do that... who knows, by not bringing a partner, you might get to know some pretty, nice girls.. Wink

Look at it this way..at least she invited you than kept you in the dark right? She wishes for your presence cos u played an important part in her life you see? Now what would I do if I were in your shoes?

hmm..even though I may still have feelings for her and even though it tears my heart apart for her to be with someone else, I would go to her wedding. I'll keep all the residue feelings within myself. After all, its her special day, not mine. And I wouldnt want to regret anything later as a result of me not going. Who knows, that may be the last time I'll ever see her again..she may move to different corners of the world, her plane may crash on her honeymoon, etc. So, put your chin up and go to her wedding with no regrets later Wink
