About the penalty, this is what I feel. It was definitely a
foul, but was it a inside the box? I'm quite sure it wasn't. But
then, we have the benefits of replays. Everything happened so
fast.
Ultimately, it was a poor performance by England. If they had
played better and taken their chances, this penalty won't even be
an issue.
In fact, the penalty taken wasn't really a well-taken penalty, a
better keeper might have saved it. Perhaps someone like Petr Cech,
Van Der Sar just not Robinson or even David James. Still, credit to
Russia for taking their chances. At least it was on target.
