Usually, when my guy & I have dates, it doesn't mean we have to
go anywhere special or specific 
I suppose
we're very boring people, but what matters is that we both enjoy
what we do. A typical date would include any or a combination of
the following:
1. He plans to cook a yummy dinner. Both of us then come up with a
list of ingredients to buy, what accompanying wine or drinks, then
we trot to the supermarket.
2. We plan a movie day, & come up with what movies we want to
watch, or to choose something from either of our collection. Then
we plan our junk food menu & drinks for the day. We either go
to the supermarket to buy the stuff, or call the fastfood chains
that deliver (Canadian Pizza is a particular favourite with us)
3. Petshop exploring. We pack our mini street directory, hop on the
bus/MRT & off we go.
4. Casual day out. We head to the theatre to buy tickets, then use
the remaining time for a meal, & head to the library to
read/borrow books, or quickly browse around for snacks. If we have
more time, we go shopping for sports stuff (thanks to him, I'm
starting to like more atheletic wear)
There're a few more, but I'm too lazy to type them out
Basically, you don't even have to go out to enjoy yourselves. It's
fun to invite your date to your place & just cook together.
Plus, there's plenty of privacy for more TMM
