Woah... I never expect our gals to be so devoted even if the competition is off the charts. I tot I can hear some negative comments here.

But in a guys' point of view, actually my point of view, I think it is more logical and practical to go off with the better guy, since he's the perfect guy u've ever hope for... y stick to the current guy who is in no way hold a candle to him?

But after hearing tat so many gals are still sticking to their current guy, I was wondering if our Singapore gals r being misunderstood... or not understood by our local guys as being "overly-materialistic".

even you for a guy,may give in to such temptation, let alone gals...most will take the gamble i would say. these lots of gals appear as the good sheeps..

is it not the truth? although there is true love, but the law of survival still stands...
women always go for some1 who can provide them, in this case, the better of the lot. now in mordern society, women don go for some1 macho anymore, they will go for some1 who can provide for them and the children..

actually i don blame them for such behaviour, afterall this is one of the law of survival.

Rich guys who can provide material things not very faithful.
I've got a friend who is married to a rich lawyer. She has 3 kids with him but he is never home cos got mistress. She lives in big condo, got maid, car but not happy

It'll be good if there is really one such perfect person.
However, if my current bf is sweet to me, I'd rather find stay with the one who appreciates and cares for me.

So what if that person is "perfect"...intelligent and rich, can't guarantee that he loves you. Of course if things happen in a marriage, he might be able give you a sum of money. But if he is intelligent enough, he might be able to get away with other things that meant more to you than money. What's the point?... can't help being skeptical..
Anyway, time is precious to girls. How much time has she to start all over again...

On materialism..think some sg girls were misunderstood:
If I may represent views of my unattached, more financially well-off friends, ideally, they would want to look for someone who have a higher income than them. For realistic reasons - Some guys will feel inferior if their spouses earn more than them. My friends would rather stay single than grab someone and dump him when the "perfect" guy comes along. Isn't that an act of responsibility? At least they don't go round hurting people unnecessarily.

Of cos, there would be few exceptions. Some girls do marry for money and dump the current bf. I think it goes both ways.
I have a fren who dumped a virtuous lady for a sexy babe...
