Perhaps that was the heart speaking, and not the mind?
The mind may have appeared mad because it was struggling with the
heart to make itself heard, and with both sides clamouring for your
attention, it is possible to confuse which said what.
Some people in this forum are able to dispense advice with
cool-headed rationale and seemingly-impeccable logic because they
do not have matters of the heart to cloud their minds and hence are
able to hear the mind speak with relative clarity.

But Nature makes them so."

If your original post was referring to matters of the heart, may I
answer your question with another: Would you rather be the fool who
has been in love or the fool who has never been in love?
The heart seeks pleasure; the mind finds danger. Follow your heart
if you wish, but don't lose your head. If all of us spent our times
weighing risks in our mind, none of us would ever take the leap to
fall in love.
Good luck.
