Wat’s the difference.

Selective listening = listen to those words u wana hear. Rem there was a commercial abt tennis where the coach tells the dad his son cant make it but his dad only listened to those can make it words? That is example of listening.

Active listening = listen to the whole thing, including those unfavourable ones. a more complete picture of listening.

Trance Listening, closer to active listening.

Human tends to be more secretive than you know. They may want to share, but not the whole truth.
After subsequent listening and probing and questionings, i tend to find out hideous truths(at times) or root of the problem.
