resignation letter- can i hand it in to the HR?

iamsuper SG

WHat are you talking about .... this means you dont get paid not that you have to pay the company ....CHRIST

6 weeks and your quitting ...good job there chap. Shows your a real worker, good luck with your next jobs..... this isnt even enough time to get to know your working environment let alone start enjoying a job..... quite unbelivable

Hope you dont need a reference, plus i suggest you dont put on your CV that oyu had a job for 6 weeks only .... doesnt bare well for you

iamsuper SG

Im interested to know what company you work for and what you are expected to do

sneezy SG

she already mentioned her job scope

ILPSY SG

Yes dear, you have to pay, out of your own pocket $, 2 week's worth of your pay. Then, you can leave the company the next day! On top of that, they won't give you that 2 week's of pay!

it is true that assholes and office politics are everywhere. but the situation difffers with companies.

i have seen and heard of companies with very little and/or very mild office politics. some like my last job was totally unbearable.

ILPSY SG

Every company has its own office politics, juz differed by its intensity.
If you really feel that you can't cope with it, its better to leave. I was super stressed in my first job when I graduated and remembered crying every night before I sleep. I lost 4 kg within 1 month. I was almost going into depression. I decided that since i was not happy in my job, then, I shld leave. Thus, I won't forced you to stay if you are not happy in the company.

==> I like your points very much, it is so pertinent and encouraging... one thing I would like to emphasize, if you could find a job first, then submit the resign letter, would be ideal, but based on your case, maybe you have to resign first liao.. don't put a shadow on yourself, not everyjob, every colleague, every company like that, you will find a better one, jia you.. =====

===> some time maybe we put too much pressue on oursleves.... Mr. Green but anyway, there are some places, some ppl are not suitable to us.. ===

I believe to respect and to recognize other's work and be gracious will make our society a bette place to live in... nobody is perfect especially those who are fresh graduated...====

snowygal SG

okay...for the record..i have tendered...gave my letter to the HR before i went home... hahaahah...

i know the office will be talking about me tomorw when they hear about the news. Laughing oh..have to give the letter to my mananger too.she wil be back tomorw. Not an easy person to deal with .... Rolling Eyes

If you are still young and no commitments, go out and explore as there are many opportunies for you.

Devil1976 SG

Good for you... Cool

Xcert SG

I second that.

ILPSY SG

Wah! Congrats! Its a new beginning. Isn’t it easier to work now? heehee…

snowygal SG

easier to work..... hmmmm... in a way yes...and no. yes coz i know that next friday marks the end of this adventure...and no -there are still alot of things to be done everyday Razz

however, my mananger hasn't say much about my resignation .. and that makes me wonder if its approve.
