bismarck SG it appears that many of the jobs i called up in the papers dont specify that they are looking for female staff only and it is only when i called up then tell me. wtf ? first discriminated because of NS. then sex? and i constantly hear my sis lamenting abt sex discrimination aganist women
Estee SG they CANNOT specify that they ONLY want female applicants…. just like they CANNOT state that they ONLY want young chaps or chinese or whatever race…. and well… it all depends on what kinda position u’re looking for…
hyuuga neji SG for admin asst post... they only wan women... coz they stereotype woeman will be more careful than man... another thing is office environment... maybe some office all woman... so get part timer... they wan woman also... like tat they won't feel so awkward...
boyboy18 SG hahas..i tink it depends bahx..some important jobs might not be suitable f0r guys,especially th0se finished NS..c0s there might be reservist or call-up anytime..
bismarck SG yeap tried. editing my resume these few days and looking at the papers while at that.. gosh. first got rejected for a job because of NS..now this.
BaByBoY SG why the need for woman`s charter if women aren`t biased against men?? no offences but sometimes i really feel discriminated too..
M©+square SG When are you enlisted for NS? Truly, at this point of time, NS is a liability. But still there are temp jobs for you. Keep searching. All the best.
