Looks really matter? not the care and concern shown?

Hello people,

I like to ask all out there a few questions? How many of you have experience knowing a gal/guy who have the look that impressed you but after you get to know him/her for some time, you begin to find his/her look becoming not as impressive as before? Even he/she did not change at all.

Again how many of you have experience knowing a gal/guy who look arent impressive to you at all but after you get to know him/her for some time, you begin to find his/her look becoming more and more impressive? Again he/she did not change at all.

I believe look is more of a mind thing. You may found one fat woman who you feel look like shit, but to someone else she could be the beauty he is seeking. I even think that situation can change someone point of looking at looks. I can still remember the first day after I have being release from my confinment for 2 week in BMT, even the old auntie also look nice to me.

Also good looking guys are think too highly of themselves.
I've a fren who is very huge & obese but very big hearted.
He is happily married & makes an excellent husband & father.
He will get up early at 5am to go marketing & buy fresh fish for his family, then drive all the way to his in-laws' hse to give them some also.

yes. I can be turned on by guys who are good looking at the first glance. But that doesn't mean I will fall in love with them. Because before I do that, Iwould have to like them first. And to like them means I would have to find out about their personality. And if his personality is like shit, no matter how good he looks like, he would still end up looking like a jerk to me Laughing

Looks matter for the first impression.
After that, mannerisms and character come in and looks become a bonus after that.
So, first impression counts. You may not look handsome/pretty, but its the way how you carry yourself that impress ppl. If you are nonchalant abt your appearance, then, difficult to score... Ppl oredi got put off by you liao, who wants to get to know you further leh? Mr. Green

haiz.. same topic again? got new topic to discuss or not? Looks is like smell. after a while u will get use to it. Humans are made to adapt so fast that they can get use to the smell of the environment after a min or 2.

I believe, how a person view another, girl or guy, all depends on age.

As we age, our appreciation of the opposite sex changes. This applies to both gender.

Naturally, looks always grabs you first. But through time, and experience, we know that that's not what we truly want in a person, just looking good. Over the years and through tribulations, we will know that looks go away with time, but memories, and true love of and from a person, lasts FOREVER.

Internal "beauty", never goes away with time and age.

Simple truth; value systems of a person, changes as they age. So does our appreciation of things in life, in general.

The problem is not about character or looks... its about the highlighted above. If you are kind and looking for a result, might as well you don't. As good as donating to charity in hoping that the media exposure will bring in revenue for your business. I am not saying you can't - but you are into the wrong mindset.

Well, I havent really saw anyone who looked good then became unimpressive when i knew them, but i hav seen average looking people become good-looking after knowing their character. However i still would say looks do matter, coz i have NEVER seen an ugly person who was ugly to me turn pretty, at least not yet! So i guess, being presentable looking is important, being drop-dead gorgeous isnt! Smile Agree ppl?

actually it depends on the type of girls YOU like, doesn't it?

If you like shallow superficial girls, who like looks and money, then cannot complain about the girl, cos the problem lies with ur taste and judgement.

same thing with girls who complain about bad boys ba.
