Quite dissapointed they order only 105 units on paper.Should
have order 200 at least.Hopefully another 105 is the MAN
DD..Probably MK1 bendy will have early
retirement else where they wanna park the buses?
This is the first time TIBS/SMRT is procuring Double Decker
buses.
Please give them some time to introduce Double Decker buses into
their fleet.
It is wise that they start
small, and not buy larger quantities.
Since they just started having Double Decker buses in their
fleet, starting small would enable them to learn how to
handle Double
Decker buses and how to manage the deployment of
Double Decker buses in their bus services.
Another advantage of buying small units:
if the subsequent Double Decker bus models that SMRT procures
are different, there will be a variety of
Double Decker buses in SMRT's bus services.
