I think 'H' stands for Hybrid.

This is the Hybrid version of ADL Enviro500.

Unlike the other versions of ADL Enviro500, the Hybrid version has a rather distinct black bar in front.

sv169 is a classic service that is cruely ignored... Bendys will do the job

966 > dun need so many DDs, already spam with Rigids, it is actually the speed the SL drive that is causing much angst...

There are other svcs much in need of DDs,
854 will stay with Bendys/Rigid fleet

855 need to improve freq

Problem with 169 is that it does not have as many high capacity buses as it deserves. Hence, I am proposing 18 DDs... Significant upgrade that will take care of loading. Loading very high in many sectors...

AMK to WDL (am peak)

AMK - upper thomson

yishun ave 3 - yishun mrt

yishun mrt - seneko

WDL to AMK (am peak)

wdl - seneko

admiralty west - yishun

yishun mrt - upper Thomson rd

all these sectors have 70+ loading.. Means need dd or bendy and loading is bidirectional.

Hmm quite true also. Even the FT workers were damn pekcek about the frequency Even 858 came more frequently than 169 liao

That is normal, i took 951E alot of times last year and by the time it reached Evergreen Pri, if im lucky enough i get a seat, if nt stand till Dhoby and a the bus will be filled to the door at the last bus stop

Normal? :o Didnt spot 951E fleet recently lol..but I can say all 3 buses departed have the same loading. If u introduce DD, passengers don't need to stand all the way from Evergreen pri.

Maybe take out SMB3061P, swope 3052R with DD and prob 3079p

OT a bit, i did write in for DDs for ffw196 coz evday have peeps standing to the door, reply was the service is not main trunk route, operator can decide the bus type best fit... 196e now still SD

Last time when 169 is controlled by both Amdep and Wldep things are not so bad cause Am side got 6-7 bendies and Wldep deploy 4-5 bendies..Freq is not that bad cause during Pm peak Am will have 2-3 downroute from Senoko to Yishun but ever since Wldep take over things became more worse by deploying more 12m buses on bendy slots.Ive done check from last month the most Wldep deploy is around 7 bendies

used to be under SBS with Leyland Atlantean DD's, blue desto but tfr to TIBS(SMRT predecessor) later on...

That's the difference between 513E and 951E/850E... With DDs, pax can sit comfortably and go to CBD. 513E AM peak now has 65-70 pax - all can get a seat.

Ever see 850E/951E at Dhoby Ghaut and you will see when it turns into Orchard Road it is packed to door. Only 34 pax sit and rest 30 pax stand all the way. Hence, have to keep launching more buses.

10E has all DD in its fleet. I think 196E does not have because in AM peak you also have 196 and 196A running in parallel.

196E just add 2 more rigid slots will do..169 which part of the route does not have another service run parallel?Deploy 14 DDs(9 splits) will do..If got DDs no need 24 buses,22 will do.Problem with most Wldep BCs they love to fly bus stops..176 & 854 are the good examples which ive spotted several PRC BCs skip bus stops when SBST svc run parallel
