just to comment, when u choose university, don’t just look at
the states oh sydney or melbourne city is more beautiful so i wanna
be there. Do u know that University of Queensland is the top no.1
university in whole of australia in the field of biological
sciences? Especially subfields like zoology, marine biology,
agricultural science, they are number one, no doubt about that. Ask
any university lecturers in australia, they will acknowledge that.
Go to the auggie web and see for yourself. The no. of research
articles published in international journals by all universities in
each individual fields are listed. For biological science, UQ is
the top. They have the Institute of Molecular Bioscience which
attracts the best scientists in australia to do research in
brisbane. UQ is geographically very close to the famous great
barrier reef, and they own most of the research stations situated
at the islands there, which makes UQ probably the best place to
study marine science in the world. Of course, having said that,
other universities have their niche area, if i want to do music,
uni melb may be a good choice. So check out the facts, dun just
hear your friend say this say that, their views may not be
objective.
