Hi,
When you rented a property, you probably paid a deposit. If you
break the lease, the deposit can be confiscated (and most landlords
choose to do this).
However, if you can find a replacement tenant to take over the
property you're renting, the landlord can choose not to confiscate
any or all of the deposit at his/her discretion (by law, he still
can confiscate everything if he wants to).
Then there maybe other things to consider like payment for any
damages to property, restoring it to original condition,
outstanding bills and other stuff, etc etc. This will be between
you and the landlord.
Thats basically it. If you have a contract, read it for more
details.
