From the way you write it, I guess you're very insecure.
"Fear" is a very contagious word here. You mustn't compromise to
it. Fear will only cause everything you do to backfire.
One thing though, try not to be expecting too much out of anything,
'cos if anything doesn't turn out right, you will only end up in
great disappointment.
Give yourself some time to know him well. At the same time, find
some time to be alone to do your stuff and build your own character
and knowledge.
In time to come, you'll be ready for the next step.
