Why is it that some women get together with another guy soon after they break off with one? By 'soon', I mean in terms of a month. I just broke off with my girlfriend for a month, and she recently got together with another guy.

The stuff she uses to describe him, 'he's so sweet, he makes me laugh' are the stuff that she used to describe me in the past. I just find it amazing that she can get intimate with another guy so quickly, while I've only just almost recovered.

If someone here could explain the female psyche, I'll be more than appreciative. Smile

I know this gal who broke off with her ex of 6 years and found someone in like what, 4 days! Laughing She's like 23 and the guy is a mere 20. My girl is a colleague of hers and she gets real pissed off with her act cute antics. They've been like 3 months together, and last heard was they planning to marry this feb.

Haha, yah, it's true that guys can rebound quickly as well.

I got my hopes up when she said that she wanted to be single a few weeks back, and I had the thinking that perhaps in future we could date again.

maybe these girls tend to be a bit insecure and don't want to be seen single and unattractive. they need security so they hop onto whatever life buoy they can find. just because she says he sweet doesnt mean he really is. anyway, arent the beginning of most relationsips sweet anyway?

i know people who are afraid to break up even when they dun love the other person anymore simply beacuse they are afraid to be alone..

guys don’t want to be seen as single and unattractive. I have to make up stories about me meeting women so that i can try and believe it so thati can get through each day without slicing some of my flesh.

Your gf may have been seeing the new guy while she was with u, that's why she is not heartbroken.

yes. if u have gotten out of a bad r/s i wud expect that it's nice to be single for at least a few months, and take some stock of ur life.
