SPAD registration for cross border buses

SBS8676Z SG

Let's see if 2685L 2686J 2687G 2688D gets an extension or not. Next month is the dereg for that Batch.

SBS9C SG

I think a total of 45 B10M DM3500 will be/continue to be JB registered (From SBS2791M onwards, excluding SBS2790R, SBS2819T and SBS2826Y), while 35 K230UB will be JB registered, making a total of 80 buses. If there are more, it will mean a fleet increase for JB registered buses.

23ispolo SG

When the day KUBs are transferred to sv 170, then 170 blue may be renamed 170A or 170M to save on additional bus desto purchase.

They will use 170X, just like that on desto...

Rui jing SG

8115B is also fitted with brake lights and jb stix in exchange for 8701J that runs on 265 now. cheers.

Rui jing SG

forgot to mention that 8207, 8208, 8210, 8443 are with 3rd brake lamps with jb stix. :)

o.O

8443 haha. actually no need to be surprised coz 81xx & 84xx KUBs registered at the same time

SBS 6238T SG

I don't think all of these 4 buses will be extended...I remembered at least 2 of them have unrefurbished grey AC ducts...

carbikebus SG

Aiyo better just use 55 KUBs and 20 Citaros for both 160 & 170.

SBS 9631X SG

Think someone should double-check the list for the Batch 2 K230UBs that are fitted with 3rd brake lights. Some of them, like 8210J, only has the 3rd brake light up till now; JB black info box stix on the sides not up yet at all.

Because in the list, they are classified tgt with those with 3rd brake light + JB info box stix.

SBS9C SG

Buses with 3rd brake lights: 60 buses

Note: Some of the listed buses also have the JB black stickers

I made some changes to the list. But eventually all of them will get the stickers, and now most of them have it pasted already, so I am not going to make another list as it will make the list quite long.

It seems SBS Transit are changing their minds? There are 3 DM500 that are transferred to HGDEP.My guess is that SBS Transit want to use only Scania buses

SBS5111G SG

Gt 1 kub from HGDEP Sv.100 also got JB STIX

It has nothing much to do with the brand of the bus. It's got to do more with the impending lifespan expiry of the buses.
Why waste all the hassle into getting all the paperwork done for the DM3500s that will go off within the next 5 years max if they're fully extended? When they could put in the KUBs that have another decent 10-12+ years before being taken off the roads?

They probably saw that the KUBs would be lesser of a hassle to swap into the JB svcs in the long-term before requiring another major swap some 10 years later.
