wei^yi SG chey ! Just stay at home and do your own things loh ... If not go out walk walk see see look look loh ! I actually prefer to go jalan jalan alone ... coz I can take my own time to see my things and no need to keep on worry that my friend(s) may be bored when I am looking at the things I like.
Kismet SG If you are interested in meeting up with people during Christmas, then why don't you try organising an outing for those people in the forum who, for one reason or not, do not have company during Christmas? Just start a thread, pick a place (for food, coffee etc) or plan some activities that you think people may be interested in and wait for the response. If there are some people who would like to meet up, good for you. Voila, you have your activity for Christmas. Don't have to wait for people to ask you out. Take some initiative.
A Beautiful Mind SG i have the same agony... its not like i rely die die have no company; But its again those one sided stuff.. i cld call my classmates or some miserable old frens & go "Hi.. whats up for xmas??can join u ppl?" And they will go in the most nonchalent, casual tone "We'll be xxxxxx, if u wan then join us lo.." I have shuttle b/w being totally alone & going for such outings where i dun rely make a diff... sometimes i think thou being alone sucks, it beats being with a bunch of ppl whom u dun enjoy being with & they dun rely bother abt u... Its not that i dun love my classmates, frens... I do love them, in fact i always take e initative to hang out with any new folks i meet. But it's their bo chap, indifferent, F** attitude that makes me disheartened... Anyway i dun care if u are Tall/Fat?Blind/Deaf/Disfigured/Poor/Masterbating loser.... as long as u are sincere, i will be ya fren!!! Anyway tod of org an xmas outing... but turn out rate for AA outing always low; anyway any lonely folks on that day can jus call me... if i can't decent respectable company that day, i'll be at home enjoyin my roast turkey & any lonely ppl can join me
