Hope the Authority will raise the speed limit from 60kmh to at
least 65kmh on highways for buses.Although its just 5kmh but its a
lot of differences..MB O906 optimum
performance is around 62-67kmh range..
The damn issue is sg traffic authorities usually allow additional
10km/h over the legal speed limit. for private vehicles which
exceed 10km/h or less is unlikely to get summon. so the unspoken
rule is private buses can go up to 70. if legally raise to 70 then
become 80. but if public buses exceed even <5km/h; some
motorists go KPKB to traffic police and even write letters to forum
pages complain. so public buses have to obediently obey the 60km/h
limit. again. if traffic police go up the speed limit, there will
definitely be people go KPKB again.
