Sounds so amateurish. Seems such a waste of time. I dont' know, sleeping pills is probably something you wouldn't want to play with IMO.

me and my bf have some mutual frens... now 1 of them is going to have a birthday party chalet..

me and that fren get along pretty well, just that duno why i cant seem to communicate with them when i meet them as a group, like abit overwhelming.. if talk to them 1 to 1 still not too bad..

this group of frens (including bf) have a history of taking drugs, and now that there's this chalet, im worried that they will be taking it...... i myself wont be turning up for this chalet, cos like i say, its a little overwhelming for me to meet so many ppl, if a few still ok, but 20+ ppl, i duno how to 'entertain'/ talk to them. furthermore im working that nite....

my bf is definitely turning up, cos thats his best fren... but im worried that he will be influenced to take drugs. my bf very easily influenced by ppl, if majority of his frens wanna do something, he will go along with them. things like betting on soccer, take drugs, smoke, all are influenced by frens. he also admit, if he didnt meet this grp of frens, he would now be in university.....

Talk to him about it? Let him know your concerns. Tell him you dont want to see him in jail and last of all, ask him to have a backbone!

Doing anything that your friend does is just plain peer pressure. So long he can identify it, half the battle is won.

Besides, what is he doing with a group of people that takes drugs anyways? Ask him to leave the group before its too late!

TRust.. Is important in this case. You can never really prevent all this from occuring. Confide in your boyfriend your worries, tell him how much you meant to him, tell him how those drugs would affect you and his future together. After telling him all this, he would have a strong reason to reject those drugs, if offered by his “best” friend. If he doesn’t, either, he doesn’t love you that much to refuse loyalty, or hes suffering from stress that you didn’t know. There could be other possibilities, but those two are the major factors. Again, i emphasize, trust, is the key to all problems when apart. take care, and hope for the best.

A responsible loving conerned gf will INSIST on him not to indulge in such vices n advise him to leave these bu4 san1 bu4 si4 frens.. do u consider a fren ur best fren if he infuences u to consume drugs.. dead NO..

if he doesnt change his ways or lifestyle.. den u better think abt ur own welfare n future.. will he be trustworthy n dependable.. i dun think an addict will have the capacity to do so.. most likely he will be liability..

try to help.. but if he refuses to help himself.. den there's nothing to u can do to save the wreck but to save ur own skin.. hopefully he will realise his errors in life n change for ur sake n his future with u..

Taking recreational drugs is quite popular in American, Canada other countries, so maybe that's why Singapore teens are trying it too..

But lets not forget the penalty here is much stiffer.

If she can convince her bf not to take the drugs, or to even hang out with them, i think that's a better solution then going to the police straight.

Everyone deserves a chance after all..

i cant make him leave that grp of frens lor... cos they stay in same area one and often hang out together, thus becoming good frens. they've known each other for few yrs

me and my bf knew each other for few yrs too, in fact i knew him even earlier than he know that grp of frens, but we lost contact for a awhile so he's closer to his frens

i told him lots of times before, "u r very easily influenced by frens", he also know it but duno why he must be SO SO SO SO DEPENDENT on frens.

i quit smoking together with him, cos he wants to quit. he said cos got somebody accompany him. his grp of frens all smoke lor,so he didnt manage to quit. but then if he went to chalet without me, i think he will be influenced to take drugs.. somemore surely got other girls ard... wait they........

i feel like telling him i dun allow him to go, but i cant lor, cos i dowan him to feel controlled. i also wan him to be happy. but then... he's happy but im not Sad

Okie.. back to this question. Lord knows what i have been offered in the past. I will not name drop. BUt the point is, he doesn't have an aim in life.. hence he goes around ... hangs around ... and gets high. Life is really that boring meh? I don't think so leh. If he didnt' know these people, he would be in uni.. i reckon he needs to get back on the bandwagon get his ar$e to uni, or get some purpose in life other than getting high, coming off it the next day (or two) and crashing and burnin. As for whether you want to go. Why don't you just go and make excuses to leave (make sure you have enough for the cab to get you home SAFELY). Lord knows u don't wanna get in someone's car when they are high... although .. no i haven't been in that situation. Okie.. the thing is, even if they were taking drugs you wouldn't know. Unless they are on sh|t like heroin and then.. buddy it's too late!! Your boyfriend needs to get into rehab for that crap.

Just go for the alco-pops.. then go home... i wouldn't stay around them if i know there will be drugs involved in singapore. Who knows when the cops come a-knockin'.

i hope i didnt choose the wrong guy. all i wanted is someone to care for me and for me to depend/rely on. but now im like his babysitter. i wan a dependable guy, cos i really stressed in life. but it seems like im taking care of him more than he takes care of me.... Sad Confused Neutral

It sure seems like that. Maybe you could talk to him, threaten to leave him if he carries on with his friends... Tell him he's not doing his job as a boyfriend(which is true anyways).

And maybe you could ask him who is more important to him... you, or his friends who do all the wrong things..
