jeslin SG i think so leh... my friend striked kerb on the day of test.. but the tester closed both eyes.. she mentioned that the tester told her she striked kerb, but didn't mark her. striked kerb is 10 points leh!

dibilo SG checking of mirrors is very impt. and oso even if not zai.. no confidence oso muz act as if u beri lao jiao everything is under control like tat. i still remember last time my circuit i do damn solid sui sui then on road he juz let me make a few turns and its home sweet home le.. didnt even do u-turn. and coz most of the tester oli deduct the pts when they are back in the office is if u show that u r confident in handling the road situation then even if u commit some mistakes he oso will close 1 eye 0_*..... gd luck
nOrmalbOi SG u need luck la... dun kenna those testers that never let u pass on ur first try.. never diao that tester on ur 2nd test too.. coz he might be ur tester again.. the rest u just be zai and appear to noe what ur doing... never say oops.. and drive like u wan to be driven.. if u urself cant stand ur own driving... who can?
Danisdead101times SG try to speak more with the tester,if he replies and talk none stop with you...mostly you will have a higher chance of passing your test...if girls wear short skirt if guy just wear some proper putfit which the tester would look comfort with you...oh yah...and last of all...don't wear ear rings and rings etc...
Enilec SG hi ppl... thankz for all ur comments... actually i din check it cuz i haven been loggin on for quite some time... cuz previously i checked, there was like no comments loh... den was sad.. well... e outcome is: I PASSED!!!! hahahax... let me tell u all bout it... e nite b4 i couldn't sleep... was very nervous.. n taw bout all tt will happened... my tp was at 9.. my instructor told me to reach at 7am at ubi... yawnn.. so tired n i had to drink chicken essence to keep me awake.. n abit superstitious... i prayed b4 i left home.. hahax... was practisin at e circuit n stuff... ok all smooth... wasn't nervous... but when i was sittin in e room, waitin to pick my route... heart tumblin... stomach felt itchy as if got butterflies... den kept on smilin cuz felt ticklish cuz of e tummy also... e other students muz hav taw i was mad! haaax... im quite lousy at maps... so when i got e route, i couldn't recognise it frm e map.. so.. left it to luck... haaax... in e circuit, e 1st test was e steep slope... i was like !! dammit... im e weakest at tt... was s0o0o super scared tt i will roll back... luckily didn't... den frm tt i gained super confidence... another was no 26, e left crank course... luckily he asked me to do e 27, right crank course.. no prob... left e circuit happily with no pts deducted... den when goin out of e sch, there's a slight slope... guess wat? i rolled back.. den he immediately took out his pen.. n i was like shit... but strangely i kept on smilin to myself... haaa... den everything was smooth... some stupid mistakes here n there.. but rather insig.. so it was ok... approached e test centre, found out tt i got 18 demerit pts... he let me passed... but den he was s0o stingy, slight stuff also deduct pts... my instructor taw i couldn't pass cuz i kanak e tester whos known to b stingy n fierce... luckily i made it thru.... waitin to get a car to drive.. hahahax.... but heard its rather ez for new drivers to lose their licenses... true? also wonderin whether there r any cheap car rentals ard... can recommend??? thankz ppl!!!

Xcert SG some rental agreements need as long as 2 years experience for rental. not recommended.Think about what happens if U crash the car.can be quite messy.not just a matter of repairing it.

LocalGod SG 2b must be super super zai... zai until close eyes also know how to turn that kind of skill. average take abt 3-4 tries to pass. i try 3 times i finally pass. out of 90+ ppl, i think like 25-30 passes for my batch. i pass with 8 points. as for class 3. wat i can say is all is luck. like me, i tio the dunno wat route never go to cck way one all the way is bukitgombak. and somemore is 10am so super low traffic. the day before tp, i almost kenna accident, strike kerb and so on. even my instructor also shake head. but that day i first time pass with 8 points. conclusion: dun be nervous. if the license is urs, it's urs.
kopiosatu SG 2b, just keep going till you meet the quota lor... when its time to pass you'll pass... i went 3-4 times... but i get things like immediate failure which never happened. strike/mount kerb, when i didn't... a few guys got the same thing as me and they didn't even strike/mount kerb. oh well, its all kelong.
Xcert SG well...I only rented a vehicle once and its written there as part of the terms and conditions.maybe U can find one company that allows U to rent...maybe at a higher premium or something... eventually it boils down to how U want to protect your relationship with people should anything happens to the car...
Ogbunwezeh SG The TP will have ur past record, i take my TP test 3 times. During The last test after i complete, he ask me whether i got practice enuf before i take the test, i tot i comfirm fail liao since he ask this question. But my reply was yes i did practice. He put a tick on the pass colume of my paper n told me tat if i practice more i can pass, he dun wanna fail me again n waste my $$$ n give me a pass.
alien_04 SG Ha, no tips, really depend on heng suay on that day's traffic road condition. Just stay calm and alert. I tried short skirt, eating calming pills, bananas (which also has calming effect), very lenient testers (that's what my intructor told me), all no use. In the end I pass on a rainy day, with a very strict tester who scolded me from start till end on my 5th attempt,
