In relationship, there are no existence of equality in treatment
and reaction. [b]what's good may not be returned with good
and such is reality of love. Challenges are given to build people
stronger and sometimes, a couple's marriage is born of karmic
foundation. It can be difficult, but when you looked back, she
married a man SHE CHOSE to and not being forced with a knife to her
throat.
The personality and kind of character is vital on what to expect in
a marriage. Alot of woman got
married because THEY think a marriage can change a
man - this is how influential your karmic bonds
will delude you into thinking. Or even a good wife, good kids can
change a personality of a man. Studies has shown that it rarely
happen without some form of critical phrase taking place within the
marriage, often ending in divorce as a result. Of course, those who
survived rarely recover completely. Some are emotionally crippled
for life.
Marriage is merely a piece of paper - it's the reason for marriage
that makes a marriage workable. Some people found the reason while
being married - of course, it wouldn't be without any valuable
cost.

I agree with the above statement in red. Some women think that
love/marriage can change a man, hence they will plunge into any
relationship in the hopes that their love for the man will be
enough to evoke a 360 degree turnaround in the man's (bad) habits
and behaviour.
I would think that some marriages fail because of unrealistic
expectations of each other. Women think they can change their men
after marriage, while men hope their women don't change after
marriage.
