To think that each time Ronaldo goes down is a dive is
absolutely absurd and just being bias. It's like saying each time
Drogba goes down he is diving as well.
Ronaldo is a player with pace, and sometimes when he runs fast,
opposing players may put in a leg or foot two late, thus tripping
him.
On occassion, it is a situation of an invited foul. It's not
against the rules, nor is it a dive.
And very often, Ronaldo is just hacked down because sometimes
there's no other way to stop him. Similar things happened to Pele
or Maradona as well. Not saying Ronaldo is of their standard, just
saying it doesn't just happen to Ronaldo.
In fact, none of the things above are unique to just Ronaldo alone.
It's just that sometimes, people want to take issue with it
precisely because it's Christiano Ronaldo.
Some players do get fouled more often by others, and it's not
because every time they fall on the pitch it's a dive.
Anyway, to talk about all this and refer only to Ronaldo is silly
when it happens to many other players. Why all the focus on just
Ronaldo?
