last SG · 2004-08-24T20:45:36+00:00

thats all. The rule book does not say anything more. It says that the rationale behind it is too ensure pupils go home on time. BTW, my school is in the eas...

Wah liao....how come like concentration camp like that.

This is really a little too much. Easy la. If can get parents to agree that this is too much then get everyone to sign a petition letter la. But I think the teachers also nothing better to do. Might as well spend the time marking papers instead of loitering around the shopping centre waiting for students to appear to punish.

Now I call that loitering. Wahaha

Lingos SG

OH we used to change before going out.
Also if you're skipping classes always have change of clothes. I used to not bring one.. people would be staring at me... Ooppps. .
ahha.

shade343 SG

Very Happy LOL. The teachers think its a waste of time as well because they are only given $8 pocket money to spend in the shopping centres. Frankly speaking, Ive spoken too much teachers in the school and most of them agree that this is a waste of time. Only the Discipline Master seems to enjoy it.

elindra SG

Maybe you can try writing an anoymous letter to your principal la, and state clearly the reasons why its stupid in a nice way and give suggestions like instead of the teachers wasting time there, they might as well use the time to organize after school activities for students

Wah liao at least more beneficial and fun la. Educational too. No need to be able studies. Can be after school sports or some handicraft lessons or what ma. Small nominal fee also can what. Most ppl go shopping centre spend money on nonsense anyway coz nothing better to do.

in me old sch, the whole prefactorial board and peer leader council used to have one major pedition of abt 800+ students name plus 200plus parents name then to make my sch change the no Handphone rule, our principal see abt 100plus students crowding outside his office, wah, was shock, went into canteen and started a discussion that lasted abt 4min before submitting due to the fact that it was quite presurising, maybe you and your frens can try that too, just exclude your parents

ditzy SG

This is a rule with no loopholes. The ultimate of all ultimates. Laughing

rongshao85 SG

i should say that this are the stupiest rules i have ever seen.

Ito_^ SG

That is just lame, go ahead and write to The New Paper, and blast the school to hell. I support ya, this is insane.

ditzy SG

Yup, its so stupid, you even found a non-existent term to describe it. Laughing

shade343 SG

Could you explain why this rule is stupid? I mean you cant just tell the principal that we should change the rules because "It is stupid" or "I dont like it". We have to elaborate further.

shade343 SG

Sorry for double post

Is it legal to do that? Wont it be "causing disturbance" or something funny? Very Happy But I think this rule is a classic example on how the Principals and the Disciplinary Comittee thinks about the students in the school. After all, school rules does reflects on the way the teachers and principals thinks of its students.

Hey shade you sound like ur from my school

my ex-sec school used to have such draconian rules
and there's a minimart near ur sch..same as mine..

regarding the sending of teachers nearby..(to spy on u all
there's 1 male teacher there whom i have a BIG grudge with , last time
make me suffer damn jialat..

If we are both of the same school , i will help u settle it using unlawful manner
no ligation , no mitigation , no whatever shlt .

Im going to grab him by the collar and take him to police station and say he instruding privacy by taking photos..

Anyway if i see him again , im gonna **** the hell outta him..
pm me ur school name PLEASE!!

rongshao85 SG

lol.. thanks.. i love to create words.. u know, gah-men are encourging us to be creative and innovative Very Happy

rongshao85 SG

well, i find it stupid because the school actually restrict a person from going somewhere which is outside the school compound. it's like u can only go to school and home everyday and it seems like the school is controlling yr life. anyway, i suggest you compile all the suggestions given by everyone and reason out with your principal. who knows, u might just be the one who can convince her or him.

bo liao SG
