From TIB1218R: The MAN A24 got a rego already(needs confirmation).

From the AM 67 SL(Inaccurate info): LTA did consider of banning bendies once, but decided not to in the end, thus SMRT will continue to purchase new WAB bendies.

It would be a joke if they never specify clearly about the bendies, moreover Singapore is expanding in terms of land n people~

But seriously, if they never implement any road structure meant for buses and only buses, the train still will somewhat "win" in terms of speed and capacity(able to board the train within 10mins or so).

those who have read the COI report… even LTA went to kachiow SBST to deploy more buses out… When it’s alrdy paralaysed in the CBD, deploy more SD???

and afaik… the last major breakdown in 1996 at AMK that side… many of the SBS buses pulled out were from AMK feeder.. got DD deployed to these buses?

It didnt just go onto the wrong track.

Some of it went totally off-track and it got stuck in the middle of the 3 track section close to NYP.

Saw it while on my way to the school.

Today took TIB841Y passing by there, the MAN A24 isn't at the parking area anymore, rather its filled with new trucks and A22s with a Five-Star DD. Its too cramp to even move the bendy back to its parking lot where i see only A22 can negotiate the tight turns very carefully. Totally no lots for any bus to park at that area... Either the bus had sent to depot or sleeping somewhere else...

Since the bendy was spotted with rego plates already, most likely it was sent to the depot quietly...

like I said.. your kids have very bad taste w/ measures.. 10 mins to getting onboard a MRT during peak hrs is totally unacceptable... because of factoring headways...

i beg to differ... i timed every bus which arrives full and normally most pax will alight there and a new batch of pax will fill up the bus again (at clementi MRT). a KUB takes 2'20" while a bendy takes 3'5"...

Is it? You know if 390 is around... it's faster for bus to ply along ECP than taking MRT from Airport to City Hall? you sure Bishan to Tampines is really fast by train??? For this case, since it can pass by TP before getting to Tampines Int... so many ppl can save the bus - MRT - bus x-fer time etc.. Not many people can get to their destination fully w/ MRT only...

That's because it's at Clementi Stn... What if it's at Int.. entirely boarding only, and the berth is only 18m that's only meant for 12m buses to use... Explain to me why SMRT drivers always sturbbornly dun want to park their buses properly at boarding sawtooth bay when there's a bendy bus in front?

I can tell you… 966 is no longer than fast…

It’s all because of the crawling forming up into BKE during the evening peak hrs.. it’s made worst being on a steep upslope…

Then explain to me how come 506 is so much faster than taking MRT from Toa Payoh to Bt Batok esp during off peak? somemore now peak hr headways during the peak within peak belt is 12 mins?

Buses sometimes is faster than MRT, it’s how you route it…. of course many kids here the fantasy bus rts thread, of course will have bias saying bus rts are too long…

We really have good kids here… poor measuring scale, still cannot answer why Woodlands Int is like one big clusterfark during pm peak..

if each and every Clementi Sv uses bendy bus.. how long the queue length is going to stretch to because of the length of bendy bus?
