She may not be afraid to commit in the relationship; usually, it is a mixture of many factors that contribute to such decision. Don't ever live in the shadow of somebody else - trust me, if you enter the show as the side cast - you WILL NOT be promoted to a main cast as long as the drama continue to run.

juz another way to see it..
u can always be ard her when she needs u.. who know`s u may haf been the main cast long ago.. one of the possible reasons is that she`s too afraid to lose u.. thus the mentality of `frens last longer then puppy love` comes to her.. give her some time to put down her liabilities..

But seriously, almost every guy I know goes through this kinda situation at some early point of their love life and come out of it wiser. The answer is quite simple really.
