TIB1242U front and side EDS very thin, didn't manage to take a
look at the back.

1. TIB1242U has very thin
EDS font, you mean? You nearly scared me into thinking that you
could see how thin the EDS is! 
2. I think that you saw SBS2688D, as I have only seen the
Strider and DM3500 B10M MK4s on
170. It's likely not
SBS2988M, as the B10BLEs are
all at SLBP (except SBS1688K
under HGDEP), due to having to go over to Jurong Island to get CNG
for the buses. So, I think you saw SBS2688D, which apparently has been
JB-registered for a long time...
