My advice would be to take the course u have more interest in.
Studying something u like give extra motivation to achieve better
results, and likewise, the opposite is true as well. But this is
just the way I am. 
In the end if u choose to follow your dream, u must have the
determination to go all the way, and prove to your parents that the
decision u made is not so wrong after all. 
Make your choice wisely.
