How will get over a long term relationship break up?

The relationship lasted for close to 5 years.

time, might be a few days, mths and even years, depending on how much u value tt r/s and wat coz the break up..

You can enter into a 5 years relationship and all it takes is 3 days for you to get reasonably well. You can also enter into a 6 months relationship and takes you slightly more than a year to get reasonably well.

P.S: Don't count the years as a basis to get over - measure the quality in those years.

Some couples lasted for 1 year before they break up. Some couples lasted for 5 years before they break up. Some couples lasted for 10 years before they break up. Some couples got married for a couple of years before they divorce.

If you are not meant for each other, better to break up.

Breaking up is hard to do, staying unhappily together is lagi worst.

Look on the bright side. You'll find someone that's right for you later. But it takes time to find that someone. Just be patient.

the length of the attachment matters less as compared to the depth of the attachment.
even if its a 1 month attachment, but feelings were very very strong, then it would take longer to get over.

Mine more than 10 years, still didn't really get over her.

But life goes on, no point hanging on to something/someone that is never meant to be yours.

Keep your head high. Show him/her that you are better off without him/her.

I believe time can heal all wounds.. Just like what the rest has said.. pastures is always greener on the other side.. No point dwelling on it, you will only hurt urself even more.. Hope u take things well my fren... Someone will gradually come along to mend ur broken heart... Wink

but it is berry hard to forget someone u love
if ppl can easily forget the person he/she love
i feel tt tt is nt true love
even when u saw someone tt looks alike yr ex
u will stare at him/her for a few secound and walk away
or those places tt u ever went to ... thing u ever did b4
all those events will easily let u think of the past memories

Nobody ask u to forget that someone who has left a footprint in you.. Time is to heal the wounds that had once hurt u deeply.. and allows to u to move on.. No doubrt memories will still be there..
