969 extend to Pasir Ris town on Saturday, Sunday and public
holiday.
The bus will use the route of 39 from Tampines all the way to
TPE, then it will continue it's journey back to Woodland
. No buses will be daparting from Tampines as it loops there.
Driver can have a 3-5minutes break at Tampines Int with passengers
on board (like 858 at Changi Airport). Last bus that loop back
to woodland will depart at 11.15p.m. All buses after that will
terminate at Pasir Ris Int.
Pointless since there is already 39 serving the sector and
Woodlands commuters can take 168 and change to 39 which is even
faster.
Unless this 969 is handled over to SBST, better stay as it is
since the current 969 can't even handle the loads well for the
current route, including weekends, so no need for any extension.
Moreover Pasir Ris int is more crowded now, don't jam up that place
with bendy buses.
