Intergration of bus services 825 & 927. In addition, 825 will extend to Ang Mo Kio to provide direct connection between Choa Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio which will be faster that the current NSL. It will serve Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3/6, Yio Chu Kang Road, Lentor Estate, Yio Chu Kang Road, Upper Thomson Road, Mandai Road, Singapore Zoo and its original 927 route to Choa Chu Kang and vice versa. Alternate route 825A could cover the existing route of 825 to cater the passenger demand.

(Below is my favorite since sometime i need a faster connection to the west)!
New service from Yishun to Boon Lay. It will ply Yishun Ave 2/1, Mandai Avenue/Road, BKE, KJE, Choa Chu Kang Drive/Avenue 4/Way, KJE, PIE, Pioneer Road North, Boon Lay Way, Jurong West Street 64 and Vice Versa. It will enhance the connection between Yishun, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong West faster that the current NSL/EWL. Furthermore, it will provide a faster connection to NTU via Pioneer Road North for Yishun and Choa Chu Kang residents.

Reintroduction of service 989. I suggest to reintroduce the direction connection between Choa Chu Kang and Changi Airport to shorten the journey at the exisiting NSL/EWL journey. It could enhance by starting the service from Bukit Batok and proceed to Choa Chu Kand and Bukit Panjang before continue its journey to Changi Airport

Changes to allow service 966 and 985 to serve Toa Payoh Lorong 6 to provide a faster direction from Woodlands, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Batok, Choa Chu Kang beside the NSL.

I am also a fan of service 163 too, this service brought be memories. Remembered this service since its NAC 0405 days. I was staying in Upp Thomson near YCK Road then. Me and my sis always depended on this service to go to school then.

Also fancied that time when 163 switched from AMDEP to HGDEP due to route extension. Dun really fancy the MK2/MK3s on 163 though, the MK4 Striders/DM3500s as well as 1688K are really the best.

Have always looked forward to see more new buses deployed on 163 ever since it started K230UBs in 2008. It was also a delight to see the K230UBs replace all the MK3s then. Now MK3s (806T and 804Z) come back again, sigh......

Hope to see 163 go WAB.

This bus service has all sorts of buses! From the oldest mercs non aircon to 230KUB.

lol.. now even with DD :). So im rather happy for it. hahaha. im waiting to see perm Wrights to be deployed for 163, and also, not forgetting citaro. but have to wait. :).

163 under AMDEP (SBST) only had boring Merc 0405 fleets then, the transition from AMDEP to HGDEP really made 163's fleet more exciting. Still remember at that time I took several joyrides on the Striders/DM3500s to SKG/TPY from Upp Thomson

If 163 remains under AMDEP till today it might be full K230UBs

Btw 163 was already made FAC by SBS in Jul 1995 just before it was handed over to Tibs in Dec 1995. Service 163 under Tibs never had any NAC buses.

Service 103 was the one that was still PAC thruout Tibs days, returned to SBS in 1999 and became FAC. Somehow 103 was downgraded to PAC again in 2005 with the HGDEP MK2s
