I can agree to the purpose of this route but there is currently no way to get to Thomson Road to Outram Road as highlighted in red above (and vice versa).

Perhaps the following alternative might be better?
(Original route to) Thomson Road >> Balestier Road >> CTE >> Exit to Orchard Road (and continue with original route)

I lead it the way of maps and there is a CTE after the united square and the bus just plys on that CTE

there is a cte after united square but the only entrance to it is via balestier rd...
