Hougang Street 21 stretch is covered by Service 113 and 119.
How often do you actually take 112? Many pax like me depend on
it as a direct way back to Rio Vista etc. People at HG ave 7 need
112 to return back home.
So sorry.
But in fact, your idea's the one that should be trashed. Your
route heavily duplicated 82, and most people would just hop on 82
as it is faster to link to the MRT to CBD. It also mostly plied the
HG sector of 161, and it is needless to say 161 is faster in
bringing people to HCI than your extension which loops round and
round. All the buses wasted here could be better utilised by having
them ply on svcs like 82, increasing their frequency. Coz yes, with
the rate of development now, 82 could just be the next 101 very
soon.
