It is a new service that plies part of services 76 and 262's routes for purpose of load relieving. He did not put the service number in.

Operating only during PM Peak hours.
Because usually a lot of people only take 300 from Choa Chu Kang Int.

Bukit Panjang > Opp Blk 464

Operatng during night time.
Because a lot of people usually find it hard to alight from Sv975 buses too packed with passengers heading LCK.

Service 168A
WRI > Opp Tampines MRT/Int

Usually quite a lot of people take this route.

And a new service from Choa Chu Kang to somewhere lol
Choa Chu Kang Int > Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 (Sv300 route)
Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 > Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 (Turn right to 172/975 route)
Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 > Brickland Rd (Turn left either express or create new bus stops in the near future)
Brickland Rd > Bukit Batok West Ave 5 (All the way straight to meet with Sv187/188/985)
- Express all the way straight w/o turning right into Hometeam NS / Swiss Cottage Sec
- Straight and serve the bus stop that has Service 945 along Bukit Batok West Ave 5, and serve the bus stops along that road, including Bukit Gombak MRT, all the way to the end of the road.
- Turn left and meet Sv 187/188/947/985 and serve bus stop "After Bukit Batok West Ave 5" along Bukit Batok West Ave 2.
- Continue straight, and meet Sv 173 (not turn right or left like Sv 188, 187/947/985).
- Continue straight, and meet Sv 187 (towards wri)
- Turn right into Bukit Batok East Ave 3, serving bus stop Blk 231 & Blk 238.

Still thinking of how to continue this service. Where to terminate and such, any suggestions?

I want 168A from Tampines Library to WRI during AM Peak/7am to 8.30am. Many of my frens alight there to transfer to pasir ris/other parts of tampines and PM peak from 5-6pm when RP students from school. During RP school days, 168 queue can be as long as 950

I would not be supportive of it. This would mean lesser buses between Compass Point and Hougang, and would discomfort people around Buangkok Green, HG Ave 4 and 8 for whom 161 could be the fastest to HG MRT.

325, 101 both take longer time to reach MRT compared to 161. Also, this would further increase the load on sv 101 which already is bursting out of its capacity.

Decided 101A to NOT start from Kovan as people cannot get a seat when boarding @ HGI.

I advocate having 101A from Kovan than HG MRT. In fact, I feel 101 should start from HG St 21 terminal rather than Serangoon. Too many buses from USR to Serangoon. This way frequency can be improved on 101 and also 2 buses should be upgraded to DDs.

It's too long for a short route like 101 and is not feasible. The purpose is to let people @ Hougang to have a seat inside the bus. If it start from Kovan, the purpose is not met there. Furthermore people from Serangoon will board 43/109 instead of 101. So basically people at Kovan have seats.

I think 9252G is suggesting something else to avoid peak hour crowding of buses at MRT bus stop.

Aft MRT is Interchange alr.... But what BusAnalayzer said is true, purpose is to avoid peak hour crowding at MRT bs... Clementi is alr very congested in the central area.
